My niece has been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder but from
talking with her I think she may also be experiencing spiritual emergence.
One thing she is most concerned about is how to suppress involuntary out of
body experiences, which she is afraid might happen when she is driving or
working. Do you have any tips on that, or any tips on dealing with Borderline
Personality Disorder in general, including therapy and diet/nutrition?

Sounds like they (the authorities) should save a room for her at Hotel Silly.
Then you'd have some familial company.

I experimented with "Astral Projection," as it was then called; and I can tell you the whole thing's a hoax.

It is possible that a ketogenic diet may be effective in suppressing
dissociative episodes.

She should speak to a doctor before starting it, but it's very safe, in
general, so there's nothing to lose by trying it (except, perhaps, some
weight ;-).

There's a ton of stuff online about it, including recipes.

I agree with David, that a ketogenic diet is *always* a good idea. (Also, eliminate every form of gluten while you're at it!)

Another direction with personality disorders is the mind of the individual lacking a firm anchor between the mind and the body. To this I offer the following mantra: when the mind is one's enemy, love thine enemies. When the body is one's enemy, love thine enemies. When thoughts are one's enemies, love thine enemies. Merely focusing on the simple mantra, "Love thine enemies," will help the inner core self to radiate outward with greater luminance / luminescence.
